This is meant to be a guide to the process of SentinelSat SAR imagery normalization. If you haven't yet read the guide on downloading Sentinel imagery, please go see that first.

Setup

For this process, we will be using the ESA's SNAP software. Essentially, it's a barebones, open source equivalent to many of the more powerful tools available out there. However, it doesn't cost thousands of dollars a year so we won't be complaining! Additionally, it can import either zipped imagery directly (assuming the zip has properly packaged the Sentinel imagery in the format it expects) or you can drag the unzipped folder onto the window and import that too.
